A report prepared by Economic & Planning Systems, Inc., for the Stapleton Development Corporation (Stapleton District I Residential Development Strategy and Program, January 1997) provides a realistic development approach that is responsive to market opportunities and to the spirit and vision of sustainability embodied in the Stapleton Development Plan. The market viability of community design and "Green" building techniques were analyzed for the former Stapleton Airport site, a 4,700-acre property located in the northeast quadrant of the City of Denver.
