Jes joined EPS in the Spring of 2022. Before joining the Sacramento Office, Jes worked for the Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis, MO, where he supported local community development initiatives through community engagement, spatial analyses, and socioeconomic research. His interests include economic development, transportation policy, and affordable housing.

Jes has a Masters in Sociology from Saint Louis University, where his research included a spatial analysis of bicycle infrastructure and its relation to economic inequality. On the weekends, Jes is an avid hiker and cyclist. He often gets to the office by bike, or by bus, and is looking forward to exploring all the restaurants that Sacramento has to offer.
