Karlyn is passionate about storytelling through data to uncover insights and make progress on tough problems. Her primary interests lie in transportation and economic analysis, but she is always looking to learn more across different fields. Karlyn has experience in diversity and inclusion analytics and is a strong advocate for equity in the workplace.

Karlyn joined EPS in 2024 as a Research Analyst Intern while completing her Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Colorado, Denver. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics with a minor in Geography from Macalester College. In her free time, Karlyn enjoys running, hiking, camping, skiing, and generally exploring all the natural beauty that Colorado has to offer.
