Thomas joined EPS as a Senior Associate in 2021 after four years with an institutional owner/developer focused on multifamily and mixed-use development in urban infill locations in northern and southern California, as well as several other major U.S. markets. Thomas has professional and academic experience in asset management, market analysis, real estate development and finance, transportation planning, as well as streetscape and urban design. He brings a unique mix of strategic and operational experience and perspective to planning questions, and he is always looking for ways to better integrate transportation and land use practices to enhance sustainability and economic development.

Thomas holds a Master of City Planning from the University of California, Berkeley and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Northwestern University. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the Berkeley Real Estate Alumni Association (BREAA), and the Lesbian and Gay Real Estate Group (LGREG).
