Amit is passionate about contributing to projects that create dynamic and equitable urban communities. He blends data analysis with an understanding of planning processes to contribute to a range of projects, including those related to development feasibility and land use strategies. Amit has a strong interest in using economics as a lens to understand the systems that shape urban development to promote economic development and affordable housing.

Amit joined EPS as an Associate in 2025. Prior to joining EPS, he worked at a land use planning firm, collaborating with both public and private sector clients on entitlements and design review processes, environmental review, and housing policy. His work involved developing creative ways to navigate complex review processes, providing him with experience in understanding the interactions of local code and State legislation.

Outside of EPS, Amit enjoys playing soccer, hiking, reading on BART, and is slowly learning how to sketch.
