Bex is an urban planner and economist with a focus on affordable housing, economic development, and local government finance. Their work at EPS has included assisting transit agencies in developing housing on public land, crafting housing policy, and designing local economic development strategies. Driven by their interest in the intersection of economics and planning, Bex enjoys providing financial and economic analyses that enable clients to meet community priorities.

Bex joined EPS in 2026 after completing their Master in City Planning (MCP) degree from MIT. While in graduate school, Bex worked for the California Legislative Analyst’s Office evaluating approaches to streamline the distribution of the state’s affordable housing funding. Bex also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Urban Studies from Barnard College. In their free time, Bex enjoys hiking and hunting for vintage treasures at flea markets and estate sales.
