Karen is passionate about helping communities thrive using data-informed methods. Her professional interests include community and economic development, equitable housing, and downtown revitalization. Karen’s professional experience prior to EPS includes positions in economic development consulting, community engagement, sustainability, and the arts in the Washington D.C./Baltimore area.

Karen joined EPS in 2023 after completing a Master’s program in Urban and Regional Planning at Georgetown University. She has a BA in Architectural Studies from the University of Pittsburgh. In her free time Karen enjoys pottery, skiing, and hanging out with her dog.
